Storm Driven

With morning storms coming in from the west of Tulsa and a rising sun, a rainbow tried to be seen.

When I left the house tonight I had hopes of some good lightning pics but once I got where I wanted, here came the drops of rain.Sometimes I don’t know why I bother when I know that it’s not going to be perferct if I happen to catch a lucky bolt.

This first one was so close and bright that it made even the chips in the windshield show up.

On the way to work I decided to check out an apartment fire nearby. While the 70-200mm Sigma is handy most of the time. I do wish I had grabbed the 10mm out of the bag to catch the smoke effect that was going on.

Getting tired of watching the bald eagle pair just set by their nest, I went on down toward the Keystone Dam to check out what else was going on.

This should slow down the blooming for a bit..
